Battlefield 1

DICE’s open beta for Battlefield 1 is now available to play across Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It went live yesterday for those with early access codes but can now be played by all and sundry.

The open beta has a download size of 6.1 GB on the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store and Origin (where it can be found in the Free Games section in Demos and Betas). It should be noted that the beta on PlayStation 4 does not require PlayStation Plus but Xbox One players will need Xbox Live Gold.

Interestingly enough, an end date for the open beta still hasn’t been specified though September 8th is a possibility. Until then, enjoy the experience and share your feedback with DICE.

What are your thoughts on the beta thus far if you’ve already tried it out? Let us know in the comments. Battlefield 1 is meanwhile scheduled to release on October 21st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
