Battlefield 1 Turning Tides Launches In December, Apocalypse In Early 2018

Apocalypse especially sounds interesting.

Battlefield 1 was showcased quite a bit at EA’s E3 show today.  We got to see In The Name Of The Tsar, the new expansion for the game that is due out come September, but EA also announced an additional two expansions- Turning Tides, which will launch in December, and Apocalypse, which is due out for early 2018.

Turning Tides‘ big showcase point is the amphibious warfare that it thrusts players into. On the other hand, Apocalypse will have “some of the most infamous battles of WWI, and players fighting for bitterly contested ground.” But that’s all we know for now- although the description alone has piqued my interest, if I am understanding it correctly. I do want to see how contested trenches will translate to engaging gameplay.

All expansions will be launching on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the same as Battlefield 1 itself. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the latest news, information, and coverage from E3.
