Scouts, Medics and the Suez Canal.

Battlefield 1

After Fog of War, Battlefield 1 has received a new custom game in the form of “Line of Sight”. This mode features only Scouts and Medics in a variation on Rush and is now live for all players. Simply head over the Custom Games tab in the multiplayer menu.

The mode is interesting because Scouts can deal double the damage with bullets. Medics are incredibly vital for keeping teammates alive. The map is Suez Canal and there won’t be any land or air vehicles to hop into. DICE noted that taking advantage of positions and holding objectives was crucial for defenders while attacks had to target snipers and advance at the same time.

Battlefield 1 will also be receiving its first post-launch map in the form of Giant’s Shadow, which will be free for all players to download. This map takes place in France during the Battle of the Selle in 1918 and features a large airship that’s crashed on land. Stay tuned for more details on the release date.
