Battlefield 3: End Game Trailer Shows Capture the Flag Gameplay…On Dirt-bikes!

Plus the return of Air Superiority.

Remember the days when we played Capture the Flag and merely bunny hopped across the landscape? Okay, there were also the days of Unreal Tournament 2004 where large scale battles of massive vehicular chaos. But this new Battlefield 3: End Game trailer, showcasing the game’s CTF gameplay, is also pretty rad.

Besides offering new maps and weapons, you also get a new vehicular type: The Dirt-bike. Two players can ride, one driving and the other trying to aim at high speeds in the hopes of hitting something. Coupled with the magic of Frostbite 2 and it actually looks quite riveting.

And it still beats snow mobiles. Sorry, Modern Warfare.

Watch the trailer all the way to end for the Air Superiority mode though, as the all-fighter jet gameplay allows for large scale dogfights not seen since Battlefield 1943.

Look out for the End Game DLC sometime in March, to be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
