EA recently announced that DICE’s newly released FPS Battlefield 3 managed to sell 5 million copies in its first week, becoming the fastest selling game in EA’s history.

Additional data from third party sales trackers has now arrived, detailing how much each version of the game sold. It turns out the Xbox 360 version managed to sell more than the PS3 and PC versions put together, despite allegedly being the least impressive.

Here’re the figures:

  • Xbox 360: 2.2 million
  • PlayStation 3: 1.5 million
  • PC: 500,000

These figures are not a 100% accurate, since some distributors like Origin have not yet disclosed their numbers.
