EA and DICE’s Battlefield 4 is now finally in a somewhat playable state, and that means the DLC monetization machine is now in full swing. MP1st reports that the fourth of five planned expansion packs for Battlefield 4 (presumably all hitting before the release of Battlefield Hardline, and the subsequent shifting of post launch support to it), Dragon’s Teeth, has been spotted with a release date listing for July. Meaning that we could be playing it as early as ten days from now.
Dragon’s Teeth will introduce four new multiplayer maps, all set in Asian cities, alongside a heavily armed remotely operated ground vehicle, and a two-handed ballistic shield. It will also reportedly add new weapons, a new mode called Chain Link, and apparently a slew of other new features as well.
It will be sold standalone, although if you are subscribed to Battlefield Premium (for $50 a year), you should get it automatically, and for free.
