Here’s some good news for those of you that love your Battlefield 4 multiplayer. The game’s premium content calendar has recently been extended up until December of this year, possibly hinting that DICE are planning to dole out more content for their warlike friends.

Originally, content was to stop rolling out when the calendar expired in October of 2014 with the final pieces culminating in the Final Stand. Though DICE  has announced that more DLC was on the way for Battlefield 4, they didn’t give any specifics and thus, we know very little about what they actually have planned.

There are apparently some rumours flying around that the DLC will come in the form of remade classic maps, but it’s worth noting that this is purely speculative and there’s little to no evidence that will support the claim. With Battlefield Hardline on the way, it’s hard to say exactly why DICE are continuing to develop DLC for a game that already has such an enthusiastic player base. Time will tell.
