Battlefield 4

Battlefield 4 was revealed last year through an Origin leak, and also confirmed by EA to be in development. Now we have a new official confirmation from EA that the game could indeed be announced soon. It also could be released on Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen platforms.

EA vice president Frank Gibeau revealed in a financial call that they do have a Battlefield game coming next year.

“We have a Battlefield title coming next year but we’re not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term. That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff,” he said.

The game will be revealed in about 90 days which means sometime in April, and here’s what John Riccitello had to say.

“We’re also investing Gen4 console technologies and content. We’ve signaled that we’re working on the next editions of our two biggest franchises in Battlefield and FIFA…We look forward to discussing these programs and many others with you when we provide our fiscal 14 guidance in May.”
