One of the ways Battlefield 1 surprised people most was with its single player offerings. Battlefield has rarely ever been known for having a decent campaign, but Battlefield 1’s episodic collection of individual stories felt thrilling and engaging. War Stories is, of course, returning in Battlefield V, and we got our first look at one of the stories that will be included in the game. This is the story of a young child in Nazy occupied Norway, who’s main goal is to reunite with their family while fighting alongside Norwegian resistances. It looks interesting, from what little we saw, and DICE have promised that the nature of Battlefield V’s War Stories will be much more personal than what we saw in the previous game, so that’s definitely something to be excited about.
