Earlier this year, EA announced that the next Battlefield game, rumoured to be Battlefield V, will be launching later this year, and with them having said not a single word about it since then, an official reveal trailer for the game is now about due. Chances are we’ll be seeing one at E3 in a couple months’ time, and judging by a job ad posted by DICE on their official website, they’re gearing up for the imminent reveal as well.
As per the job ad, DICE are looking to hire an “all-around 3D” cinematic artist “work alongside a team of creative artists and editors to help create our world-class trailers that we use to market our games”. “You will have responsibility for shot layout, animation, lighting and rendering to achieve the final creative vision as set forward by your Director,” the ad reads.
As I said earlier, with a late 2018 release date in mind, a Battlefield V trailer should be dropping soon now, and this seems to be hinting at the same possibility. Recent reports have also been suggesting that the game could include a battle royale mode. Read all about it here.
