Battlefield 5 Has “Astonishing Visuals And Gameplay’ According to EA’s CEO

EA exec thinks EA game will be great? Say it ain't so.

The one thing you can count on DICE to deliver with every single one of their games is a game that will look good. Even as their games have stoked controversy due to bugs, rushed launches, shortage of content, and abusive monetization policies, it is hard to deny that they look absolutely stunning.

Apparently, that trend will continue with the new Battlefield game, which is due out later this year, as well. Speaking during their investors earnings call, EA CEO Andrew Wilson said that the game will have “astonishing visuals and gameplay”. I am willing to believe them on the visuals front, at the very least; on the gameplay front, while I am sure the  game will play well for what it is, it’s the “astonishing” bit I take issue with. Unless Battlefield is a total reinvention of the franchise, I am not sure how anything it would do would be astonishing- players know what to expect from it by now.

Battlefield 5 is due out in October this year, presumably for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
