Battlefield 5

We’ve slowly been able to learn more and more details about the upcoming entry into the Battlefield series, Battlefield V. Now, via recent series of tweets, some new information about the gameplay has been revealed including details of an improved movement system, destructible environments, and more.

First of all, we learn that players will spawn with fewer grenades in this game, but they will be able to make use of it in a variety of ways, such as throwing them in the air and shooting at them. We also learn that high-powered weapons will allow players to shoot through destructible environments, while the same thing can’t be done with smaller weapons like pistols. The developers also stated that the movement system in the game will be improved from what we’ve seen in previous games in the series, and will allow players to “jump through windows, sprint while crouching, shoot while backpedaling, and do a whole lot more.”

Battlefield V is set to release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in October of this year.
