Xbox marketing confirmed.

Battlefield 5

We already know that Battlefield 5 will get a full reveal this Wednesday afternoon, but ahead of that reveal, EA and DICE have decided to begin stoking the flames a bit. The official Battlefield account has renamed itself to just “V” (as in 5) on Twitter, and shortly after doing that, it sent out a cryptic short video, which you can see for yourself below.

The tweet outright says the tease is related to the Battlefield 5 reveal (pointing out that it is due this Wednesday afternoon again). As for the video, there are a few takeaways here- first, while this is inconclusive, for now it seems like the game is in fact going to be set in the WW2 era, much like was hinted at in the rumors. It also seems like the game will have a marketing deal with Xbox- which shouldn’t come as a surprise, since Battlefield has done that for a while now (and since Call of Duty cozies up to Sony and the PS4).

You can check out the tease for yourself below, and don’t forget to tune in to GamingBolt on Wednesday to get the lowdown on Battlefield 5.
