We’ve been receiving plenty of updates regarding Battlefield 5’s War Stories recently, with DICE pulling back the curtain on the single player offerings of its upcoming first person shooter. In addition to a prologue, Battlefield 5 will have four War Stories, three of which will be included in the game at launch.
The fourth one, “The Last Tiger”, will be added on in December as a free update to everyone- which has raised some interesting questions. Is “The Last Tiger” indicative of DICE maybe planning on doing something similar for more War Stories episodes? As it turns out, that’s not the case. After the update in December, DICE has no plans to add more War Stories to Battlefield 5.
“After The Last Tiger is releases in December, there is currently no plan to add additional War Stories through Tides of War,” DICE’s global community manager Dan Mitre wrote in an update on Reddit.
As for The Last Tiger, DICE recently revealed some interesting details about the War Story, and how they didn’t plan on making it “a hero story”. Read more on that through here. Or head on over here to find out more about how characters in all War Stories will speak in their own native languages.
Battlefield 5 launches on November 20 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
