battlefield 6 hagental base

The name Hunter/Prey for the final phase of Battlefield 6 Season 2 is beginning to make a lot more sense, with the reveal of Operation Augur showcasing the perfect game of cat and mouse between NATO and Pax Armada.

You’re going to be fighting for control of various sectors as you make your way into the Hagental Base, with each environment giving you opportunities to create space for yourself even as you try to deny it to your opponents. You’re going to have to use all of the tools in your arsenal to come out on top in what’s looking like a very chaotic match. Those include a variety of weapons, explosives, and strategic devices, many used in tandem, to ensure you’re never too far from the action and always prepared for an ambush.

One of the early sectors even uses the VL-7 Smoke from Nightfall to great effect, giving the playable area a new layer of tactical value for either side. All in all, this one’s shaping up to be a great addition to the game, and a sure-fire way to get its second season off to a cracking start. There’s an accompanying video to the announcement on Steam below for those of you who want to get a closer look.
