If you’ve played Battlefield 6’s open beta on PS5, either early or when it went live for everyone, you may have noticed some unique rewards. As detailed by MP1st, simply entering the beta provides a free “Advance Party” skin for soldiers, which will be usable when the game launches.
During the beta, PS5 players also benefit from double XP on both character and weapon progression. Dubbed “event boosts,” these will likely also be available when the beta returns on August 14th. With how long some modes can be, receiving additional XP to unlock new attachments and weapons faster across each Class is pretty great.
As for the full game, it launches on October 10th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It ships with nine maps, over 40 weapons and multiple game modes, including the new Escalation and Battle Royale. Players can also embark on a new single-player campaign around the world, controlling NATO forces as they combat the mercenary group, Pax Armada.
