Platinum Games’ Bayonetta 2 finally received a release date when Nintendo rolled into E3 2014 this year. It will also come with a port of the first Bayonetta game along with including new two player support. That’s not counting the same insane action we’ve come to expect from the Bayonetta series. Check out the latest batch of screenshots below.

The story concerns Bayonetta travelling to Hell to rescue her friend Jeanne after her soul is claimed by a demon summon gone wrong. The bullet witch will have her work cut out for her though since the customers in Hell are far more demanding than the angels of Heaven. She’ll need to make use of new abilities, like the power of flight, in order to survive the battles ahead.

Bayonetta 2 releases on September 20th in Japan and will be coming to North America and Europe in October. Will you be picking it up? Let us know below.
