Bethesda Game Studios, the company behind such titles as Fallout and The Elder Scrolls, has just posted several job advertisements on line, which specify that they are looking for developers to join their team that can help them, push forward into next gen development on PC and console for RPGs.

The job posting specifically asks for “talented programmers to join our team that is pushing the bleeding-edge of RPG development for the PC and consoles.” Additionally, in the requirements listed for the job opening, Bethesda is seeking someone with “development experience on game consoles (Xbox360/PS3/Xbox One/PS4).”

Another role besides the programming position is that of a Quest Designer. As one would expect the quest designer is a similar role to that od a dungeon master in a table top RPG who will write quests and storylines. The job description reads: “In this role the Quest Designer would be responsible for designing and documenting stories and quests for future next generation products.”

Given Bethesda’s stellar reputation with RPGs, the fact that they are making the call for even more talent is exciting to say the least.
