Halo 2

Developer: Bungie
Publisher: Microsoft Game Studios

After their massive success with Halo: Combat Evolved, Bungie brought out the direct sequel, Halo 2. The video game follows up with Master Chief and Arbiter as they take out the parasite army known as the Flood. Halo 2 was shown off at E3 and it was clear that the title would hold some massive graphical upgrades compared to the previous Halo installment, however, that changed upon release.

When Halo 2 launched on November 9, 2004, players were surprised with downgraded graphics compared to what they saw during E3. Regardless of the graphical changes, Halo 2 went on to become a massive hit just like its predecessor leading Bungie to develop Halo 3 for the Xbox 360.
