THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 have released a new trailer for upcoming action RPG Biomutant, paying tribute to the Star Wars series (seeing as its May the 4th). Along with a character dressed akin to Luke Skywalker – without his trademark lightsaber, of course – there’s some new gameplay footage. Check it out below.

Biomutant takes place in a post-apocalyptic landscape called the New World which sustained by the Tree of Life. When dark forces threaten to corrupt the tree, the player embarks on a quest to defeat them. This is done by either collaborating or fighting with the various Tribes while eventually tackling the World Eaters connected to each root of the tree.

Along with the ability to craft weapons and customize combos, players can also explore the landscape in mechs and submarines, utilize mutations and robotic limbs for new abilities and much more. Biomutant is out on May 25th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Though it will also run on Xbox Series X/S and PS5, Experiment 101 has yet to detail any dedicated features for those consoles like faster frame rates and such.
