Black Myth: Wukong launched earlier this year as a PlayStation console exclusive, and though we still don’t have complete clarity on whether the game did or didn’t skip a day one Xbox Series X/S release due to an exclusivity agreement, it does seem like developer Game Science might now be gearing up to bring its action RPG to Microsoft’s platform.

That’s based on Black Myth: Wukong having been rated for Xbox Series X/S by the ESRB. Though an announcement for the same has yet to be officially made by Game Science, certifications generally tend to happen close to release, suggesting that we might be closer to an Xbox release for the acclaimed action RPG than one would expect.

Prior to the game’s release earlier this year, Game Science said that it would attempt to “minimize the wait for Xbox users”, but did not provide a timeline that it planned on following for the same.

Black Myth: Wukong is available on PS5 and PC, with the former also set to receive a physical version soon. It has sold over 20 million units worldwide. Game Science is currently also working on an expansion.
