Pre-loads are now live for Game Science’s Black Myth: Wukong on PS5 and PC. Pre-orders can thus start downloading the hack-and-slash action RPG before its release. On Steam, it’s confirmed to require 130 GB of installation space. A free benchmark tool is also available to help PC players test performance.
The developer also highlighted release times for different regions in a separate post. Though available worldwide on August 20th at 10 AM (UTC+8), those on the United States West Coast can start playing on August 19th at 7 PM PDT.
Check out our review for more details on Black Myth: Wukong. We rated it a ten out of ten, praising the combat and visuals alongside the presentation (though it has a few issues, like no in-game map). Though also coming to Xbox Series X/S, that version has been delayed for more polish.
A release date is still forthcoming, but the developer will announce it “as soon as it meets our quality standards.” It also indicated that it could release DLC and cosmetics post-launch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
