Blanc

Casus Ludi’s gorgeous co-op adventure title Blanc received a new trailer during the Nintendo Indie World Showcase. It was also given a release date of February 14th, 2023, and will be available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Utilizing a monochromatic, hand-drawn art style, Blanc follows a wolf cub and fawn in the wilderness. As they attempt to reunite with their families through the freezing winter, they go from unlikely allies to friends. The story is told without text, and players must rely on each animal’s strengths to bypass obstacles. There are only two buttons to use, further streamlining the gameplay.

Co-op support means that two players can control the wolf cub or fawn and work together to succeed. Along with local play on the same screen, there’s also online co-op support. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months, and in the meantime, check out the initial announcement trailer here.
