BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Explodes Onto PS3 in Q1 2014

Aksys Games has announced that BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, the next follow-up in the slick 2D fighter franchise, finally has a home console release date. It will be arriving on the March 25th 2014 for the PlayStation 3, and you can now pre-order either the standard or Limited Edition.

The story sees Ragna on a mission to find and kill Yuki Terumi, and will see both new and old characters inserted into the mix. While there will be five new characters, you can also expect older fighters to be rebalanced and feature new moves. Overall, Aksys promises 30 hours in the Store Mode along with additional modes such as Arcade, Unlimtied Mars, Survival and multiplayer.

The Limited Edition will include a DLC code for character Yuki Terumi, a full colour art book, an official soundtrack CD, a “Truly Exclusive” special features Blu-ray featuring interviews from creator Toshimichi Mori and much more. First run standard edition copies will also come with the aforementioned DLC code, so you’ll need to pre-order quick.
