If you are getting Bloodborne digitally, you can get a jump start and get it on your your hard drive now, since the game is now available to pre-load. This means you can download it now, and you will be able to play it straight away once its scheduled release time hits (which should be midnight EST in the US). This will let you avoid server issues and slowdowns at midnight, when everyone will be trying to download the game anyway, and more importantly, it will let you start playing right away.
The pre-load is 5.04GB in size (the entire game is in excess of 40GB), and in addition to the base pre-load file, also includes a massive 2.69GB patch. This may be the day one patch (which allegedly enables online play) that we reported about earlier.
Bloodborne is due out exclusively on PlayStation 4 in just a few hours. Watch this space for more coverage.
