Borderlands 2 is full of references to numerous properties so why not throw Fallout in for good measure? There are some more obvious references but you wouldn’t know that Dog, the shotgun, is one as well. Though called Dog, the actual file name is “Thre Dog” (that’s one ‘e’, not two). The in-game description also states, “Because one barrel ain’t enough and two is too few”. These are references to Fallout 3’s radio host and DJ Three Dog whose famous quote is “Three Dog, because one dog ain’t enough and two is too low, it’s Three Dog!”
