Borderlands 2 has been in the news again for the critically acclaimed DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which marks the fifth and final content pack in the season pass for the game. However, it seems that Gearbox Software isn’t done with extra content for Borderlands 2.

Responding to questions on Twitter from fans, CEO Randy Pitchford responded as to whether there would be any announcements for new Borderlands 2 DLC tomorrow. Pitchford replied thus:

So far, Borderlands 2 has seen two additional Vault Hunters with Gaige and Krieg, new campaigns and single-player missions, an extra difficulty mode in the form of Ultimate Vault Hunter, a new weapons category (Pearl) and of course, the level cap which increased the maximum level from 50 to 61.

What could the newest DLC be about? Will it be a part of a brand new season pass for Borderlands 2 or just a regular update with new content? Stay tuned tomorrow to find out.
