Borderlands 2 Vita Off-Screen Footage

Looks quite good.

Atomix has posted a four minute long video that shows gameplay from the upcoming PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. The video was taken off screen on a PS Vita at this year’s GDC. It’s given above.

The video shows the player in the game’s Southern Shelf Bay area, fighting enemies and exploring the arena, and I have to say, it looks really good on the PS Vita screen. The visuals like crisp and excellent, and it doesn’t look like they’ve been downgraded noticeably (or at all), and the frame rate is running smoothly. The screen’s power, of course, does wonders as well. But then again, this is just one short video, so we can’t be sure about the entire game.

But given how good the original Borderlands 2 was, we’re quite optimistic about the RPG’s outing on the Sony handheld.
