With Borderlands 4 launching in about a week, Gearbox Entertainment has released a new launch week trailer to generate hype. It’s pretty straightforward, highlighting all the different weapon variants and the new Vault Hunters slaying out, but it works.

Arriving six years after the launch of Borderlands 3, the sequel takes place on a brand-new planet, Kairos, where the Timekeeper rules. As Vex, Rafa, Amon or Harlowe, you work with the Crimson Resistance, led by Claptrap, opposing him and his servants at every turn. Borderlands 4 offers the same looter-shooter gameplay loop as previous titles but with numerous improvements and new features.

Increased mobility allows for grappling, gliding, and mantling up surfaces, while Licensed Parts offer weapons with benefits from multiple Manufacturers. Check out our feature for more details.
