Borderlands 4 (2)

Gearbox Entertainment’s Borderlands 4 will arrive in about two months, and it’s kicking off with new cinematic shorts and trailers for its Vault Hunters. First is Vex, the Siren, who went from an introverted retail worker to gaining Siren powers on Mercenary Day. Needless to say, this led to excessive bloodshed.

And while Amon, the Forgeknight, questioned why she would arrive on Kairos of all places, he (and everyone else) agrees that it’s better than working retail. Aside from the genuinely funny moment, we also received a quick overview of Vex’s abilities. As a summoner, she can create Phase clones of herself or a Phamiliar (called Trouble) to annihilate foes.

Alternatively, there’s Incarnate, where you detonate a Phase Explosion and unleash Eldritch Blasts with your off-hand. Vex is capable of some pretty hefty elemental damage, but there are many potential options, especially with all the skills.

Borderlands 4 launches on September 12th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is out later this year.
