Borderlands Legends Confirmed for the iPad and iPhone

No Vita.

Aww, poor Vita got sidelined once again. After Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford expressed desire to make a portable Borderlands 2 game for the Sony’s handled, reports are coming in that it’s actually for the iOS devices.

Massive troll of all time. But maybe Sony weren’t interested or Gearbox changed their minds, either way, no game for Vita.

Borderlands Legends is the name of the iOS game, and it will be released later this month on the iPhone and iPad. You can play as Roland, Lilith, Mordecai or Brick and play horde via randomized missions. There will be “thousands of weapons, 36 powers and abilities, a “strategic cover system” and includes Fight for Your Life mode,” IGN reports.

It is not officially announced yet but 2K games should announce it soon considering the game is supposed to release this month. I would personally love it to be on the Vita with the game utilizing both analogue sticks, but as it is, the iOS version is sort of less appealing to me.
