It was bound to happen sooner or later – Gearbox Software has announced Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, an HD port of Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel for PS4 and Xbox One. The collection will include all DLC released for both games thus far and will release on March 24th in North America (with an international release on March 27th). If you’re concerned about starting afresh in both games, then don’t worry. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will support cross-save functionality, allowing Xbox 360 users to transfer their saves to the Xbox One while PS3 users transfer their saves to the PS4. There will also be support for four player split-screen in multiplayer.
Gearbox also announced a special Claptrap-in-a-Box addition which comes with Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, a special steel case and an RC Claptrap bot with its own dialogues. Check it out below and pre-order quick – only 5,000 units will be available worldwide.
