Borderlands The Handsome Collection

Gearbox Software has announced via the official Borderlands Twitter that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection has gone gold ahead of its March 24th release. Development on the game has finished and it is ready for manufacturing and shipping.

In case it seems to be cutting it a bit close (most games tend to go gold several weeks before their release), it’s pertinent to remember that the Handsome Collection is a remastered version of Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. It features all of the DLC from both games, aside from the upcoming Claptrap DLC for The Pre-Sequel, and even allows players to transfer their previous gen saves to the Xbox One and PS4.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be out on March 24th in North America and release worldwide on March 27th. Stay tuned for more information on the game in the coming week and let us know whether you’ll be picking it up in the comments below.
