Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Gearbox Software’s Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, developed by 2K Australia, has finally gone gold. This means that all development is now finished and the game is being sent out for disc manufacturing and shipping.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place between the first and second game on Elpis, the moon orbiting the planet of Pandora. You’ll be on the side of Hyperion this time around with four new Vault Hunters – Athena the Gladiator, Wilhelm the Cyborg, Nisha the Lawbringer and Claptrap the Annoying – battling to re-establish control of the company’s lunar station. You’ll have new abilities, new loot, new gear and plenty of new areas to explore. It may not be as large as Borderlands 2 but it’s still a compelling experience.

Releasing on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be out on October 14th in North America and October 17th in Europe. Are you picking it up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
