Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Receives Behind the Scenes Dev Diary

See what goes on behind the scenes in the making of the next Borderlands title.

While Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a fairly light-hearted title, the implications of the game in the franchise are fairly serious. After all this is a game that arrived when most people were expecting to hear about Borderlands 3. Nonetheless, in this new “making of” development diary, 2K Games, Gearbox Software and 2K Australia talk about the development process and how the game came to be.

The emphasis is on telling more stories within the universe between the first and second game but Gearbox and 2K Games are adamant about supporting players on previous generation who enjoyed the franchise. 2K Australia, for its part, is perhaps one of the bigger studios currently existing under the 2K Games banner, having ample experience with the Bioshock franchise in the past decade or so.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be out on October 14th in North America and October 17th in Europe for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments.
