Bravely Third Already Planned By Producer If Bravely Second Sells Well

At least let the second game release first...

Bravely Second

Bravely Default is still one of the defining games of the 3DS, an original IP exclusive to it that was very well received critically and commercially, worldwide. It is already getting a sequel this year, Bravely Second, which launches in Japan soon. And now, according to the producer, a third game is also planned in the series, and ready to go, assuming the second game does well enough in sales.

“It might make you say ‘What?!’ given the timing, but I already have the concept for Bravely Third in me,” the producer said in the latest issue of Famitsu. “If sales for [Bravely Second] are good enough, I’m planning to immediately submit a proposal. Please give me your support!”

Bravely Second launches on Nintendo 3DS in Japan soon, with a release in the west not yet specified, but hopefully not too far behind. Bravely Default was a breakout success in the west, so bringing the sequel over makes sense.
