Double Fine Productions has finally revealed the name of the game funded by Kickstarter, that helped usher in a revolution for crowd-funding and helped several developers push forth old-school games like Wasteland 2, Torment: Tides of Numenara and Shadowrun Returns.

Broken Age has been revealed as “a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster – but she decides to fight back.

“Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.”

You can check out the website for Broken Age here, and even find out about 2 Player Productions’ documentary detailing the development process from start to finish. Well worth becoming a backer for, you can check it out here.
