Bungie Community Manager on Destiny DLC Leak: Don’t Believe It

Eric Osborne shares a rather cryptic tweet on the recently leaked DLC.

Several weeks ago, a single screenshot from a Bungie meeting began making the rounds and purportedly revealed the upcoming DLC and content timeline for Destiny. Though the legitimacy was never confirmed by Bungie, it seemed fairly believable overall. This is especially if you compare the information relayed by data-mining sites which revealed the number of PvP maps, story missions and Strikes that the House of Wolves DLC would have.

Now, further putting a wrench into the work, Bungie’s Community and Marketing Relations Manager Eric “Urk” Osborne has seemingly asked players to not believe the leaked image. This was done through a still from the movie Memento and shows the leaked screenshot in question with the tagline, “Don’t believe this slide”.

It’s interesting because Osborne doesn’t straight out deny the slide’s contents. Also, in Memento, just because the tagline says to not believe it, doesn’t mean it’s not true. We’ll have to wait for more information in the coming months to see exactly what Bungie has in store.
