Bungie Invites YouTubers To Discuss Storytelling Issues in Destiny 2

I don't even know where to begin with this one, guys.

Destiny 2 Warmind

Bungie is one of the oldest, most respected developers in the industry, with a history of some of the most influential, most beloved games of all time. They’ve created universes that have captured the imagination of millions throughout the world. And even if none of that was true, which it is, you would have expected a game developer trying to tell a story to, well, know how to tell one, or to work on learning before they start telling it.

Not Bungie! After the criticisms that Destiny 2 has taken for, among other things, its poor storytelling, Bungie has decided to invite YouTube lore video experts to… talk to them about deficiencies in storytelling, according to Reddit. Worryingly, some basics of storytelling, such as continuity, were suggestions that seemingly caught Bungie off guard, which… doesn’t bode well.

So, I guess, were Destiny’s story to ever get fixed, it will be with Destiny 3. At the earliest.
