Bungie, the developer which created the monumental Halo franchise, has extended its congratulations to current franchise developer 343 Industries for the work done on Halo 5: Guardians:

On Twitter, the studio currently preoccupied with Destiny said, “Congratulations to 343i on the launch of Halo 5. We can’t wait to see where the Chief goes next. Cheers!”

Meanwhile, the official Halo Twitter stated, “Thanks for the kind words! We hope you enjoy.”

Bungie was originally owned by Microsoft for a ten year period, starting from the first Halo title up until Halo: Reach. The developer had left Microsoft several moons ago to sign with Activision and work on Destiny, its shared world shooter that borrows elements from MMOs. That Bungie is still keeping track of the franchise that made it most famous is good news and hopefully 343 Industries continues the good work its done in Halo 5: Guardians.

Halo 5: Guardians is currently available for Xbox One. Have you picked it up? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
