Destiny The Taken King_Crucible

After updating matchmaking settings in the Crucible to fit more connection-based criteria, Bungie has announced that it will be releasing a new patch today for Destiny.

As per a service alert on its website, “We will be pushing a patch live tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny again after returning to the title screen to install the patch. You should not be removed from any activities you are currently in.”

It’s unknown what exactly the patch will be but don’t expect anything major. Those updates are usually preceded by weeks of updates and comprehensive patch notes. This could be nothing more than a few bug fixes, much less preparing players to receive their 320 Light level Ghosts from Crimson Doubles on February 23rd.

What are your thoughts on the changes to Destiny, especially with regards to the matchmaking? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the game in the coming weeks.
