For all the hints and spoilers we’ve seen about Bungie’s next IP, dubbed “Destiny”, there’s never been an official confirmation at the game aside from the meager few details the developer has provided.

That’s set to change at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference when Bungie’s creative directors discuss building a new world, from concept to production. And what else could they be discussing but Destiny in that respect?

According to the GDC conference schedule, attendees will get key insights into Bungie’s design process, and also have a hint of the new world being built. A world where the next decade of adventures will unfold, and hopefully captivate us along the way.

The presentation will have concept art and design case studies, focusing on Bungie’s world building pillars, as the developer demonstrates how they’ve been used to create the world of Destiny.

Since seceding from Microsoft, Bungie entered into a highly lucrative 10 year contract with Activision to developer Destiny for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game has no official release date as of yet, aside from a speculated late 2013 release.
