Bungie stated that Destiny would be live whenever it was midnight, September 9th anywhere in the world. Well, despite time zone differences, it must be midnight in New Zealand since the official Destiny Twitter revealed the game’s availability.

“The first Guardians can now claim their copies. #Destiny is available in New Zealand.”

If you take a good look at Twitch, you’ll find several streams of players currently embroiled in Destiny. It’s expected that more territories with the game will be going live soon. We expect the most activity around midnight PST since the entire world will have gotten its hands on the game by now.

Destiny is out on the PS3, Xbox One, PS4 and Xbox 360 with support for Remote Play on the PS Vita. If you’ve already gotten your hands on the game, what do you plan to do first? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
