There’s something about Incandescent Imaging’s Caffeine, a first person sci-fi horror title built using Unreal Engine 4 and currently seeking funding on IndieGoGo. It could be the simple yet beautifully crafted areas. It could be the overarching sensation of isolation and solitude. Whatever it is, the game is shaping up beautifully as the fourth trailer for the game indicates. Check it out above.

Caffeine takes place in the far-flung future where the substance caffeine is now the Earth’s most addictive drug. Deep space mining is underway to ensure caffeine’s constant availability and you awaken on one such station, which has been seemingly abandoned. What happened to your crew mates? What’s going on? How do you escape? These mysteries form the basis of the game.

No solid release date has been announced but Caffeine will be releasing on PC. It may also release on the Mac so stay tuned for further details as the crowd-funding campaign rolls on.
