Call of Cthulhu – New Gameplay Video Showcases the Opening Hour of the Game

The developers also provide commentary to go along with the gameplay.

At Gamescom a couple of weeks ago, Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio had showcased a gameplay trailer  of their upcoming game, Call of Cthulhu. If that video wasn’t enough for you and you’ve been waiting to see more, then you’ll be happy  to know that a new hour long video has been released which showcases the opening section of the game.

The developers also provide  commentary to the gameplay which begins with the  detective Edward Pierce waking up in a dark and mouldy cave as he tries to find his way around. The developers also discuss how combat isn’t an integral part of the game, and the protagonist will often have to rely on hiding from enemies or risk losing his sanity. We also get to see some of the different creepy characters interacting with each other, and the atmosphere is often terrifying, so we can’t wait to see more.

You can check out the new gameplay video. Call of Cthulhu is set to release for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 30.
