Fight for global domination or just customize your clan's emblem on the go.

Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is only a few days away and the developer has released a new trailer detailing the companion app for smartphones and tablets. Check it out above.

The companion app will allow you to do many things such as customizing your own emblem on the go and managing your character. It will mostly serve as a gateway to Clan Wars, a strategic game type wherein your clan and several others vie for supremacy on global battleground. Lest you think it’s just a useless side-show attraction, Clan Wars will unlock different gear for use in the game including the Centurion EXO suit.

You’ll also be able to chat with clan-mates on the companion app and view different player profiles. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on November 4th. What are your thoughts on the companion app? Let us know in the comments.
