Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Double XP Starts on January 23rd

New playlists are on offer for players to try out.

Sledgehammer Games has announced a Double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare ahead of the release of the Havoc DLC.

Starting on January 23rd, 9 AM PDT, the Double XP weekend ends on January 26th, 9 AM PDT. January 27th marks the release of Havoc DLC (which includes new maps and the Zombies mode).

Aside from earning more XP, players have a chance to try out Hardcore Mosh Pit – which includes hardcore rules in Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Search & Destroy across various maps – and a community playlist called 24/7 Comeback – which includes Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Uplink, Domination and more. The latter will only be available this weekend.
