Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be set in the future and include some weaponry that goes above and beyond your typical heart-beat sensor. Along with hoverbikes and vertical takeoff vehicles, you’ll be abl to use plasma rifles and EXO suits to make yourself stronger and faster. Let’s not forget the power armour with its over-sized gatling gun.

According to Game Informer though, there’s another interesting weapon that players will be able to take advantage of. This is the 3D Printer Rifle, which creates its bullets while you’re fighting. So essentially, it’s a fully working gun that can create its own ammunition.

There’s a container labelled “Liquid Matter” so it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have unlimited ammo. This could just be Sledgehammer’s way of introducing a gun that doesn’t need to be reloaded. Either way, colour us intrigued.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out on November 4th worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details and check out the gallery below (courtesy of Game Informer) for images on the different futuristic weaponry in the game.
