Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare First Look Trailer Revealed, Xbox Owners Get DLC First

The first real-time gameplay footage of Sledgehammer's shooter is revealed.

Sledgehammer Games kicked off Microsoft’s E3 media briefing with its first look gameplay trailer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The trailer begins with a futuristic drop-pod hitting a city. Of course, everything goes wrong – why wouldn’t it? – and the action gets going in a war-torn city-scape.

We get our first look at the 3D Printer Gun, which manufactures its own ammo, and the jet-packs that allow you to control your descent. Hulking power armours with gatling guns, four legged tanks and swarms of drone squads (reminiscent of the machines from The Matrix Revelations) traverse the field as an entire expansive war rages around you. It honestly looks a whole more organic than past Call of Duty titles.

Xbox division head Phil Spencer also revealed that Xbox owners would be the first to receive DLC for Advanced Warfare when it releases on November 4th. The game will also be heading to PS3, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more updates as E3 continues.
