Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, like so many present and upcoming games, will feature a loot-based reward system for multiplayer rewarding you with new weapons, items and much more after completing matches. Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey has revealed an important detail on the same – that your loot will carry over across Prestige levels.

In Call of Duty (and even with Titanfall’s Regeneration system), you reset to level 1 with each new Prestige level which means you need to unlock all your equipment again. Though your loot will carry over, Condrey has stated that you have to “unlock your base weapons again before you can use your weapon loot after prestiging.”

There will also be the inclusion of a League Play of sorts with monthly seasons that offer special loot once the season ends.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare releases on November 4th on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and PS4. Thoughts? Let us know below.
